I came back from a long break to find the dA community in chaos argh!!! I didnt find out about it all until I have just finished a giant upload session, bah I'm always the last guy to find out!!

I spent two hours reading it all last night. Sounds like a right mess. I hope it sorts out alright, it's tough when you have to maintain a massive website ... because they have to think of the masses not just the old faithful but I think that it would be against the "spirit" of deviantart to keep what is going on under wraps. People have invested a lot of time & money in DA (not me but I know a few) and deserve to know why the staff are dropping like flies and what this means for the future.
It's a bit like what happened at neopets when they went commercial but at least they kept the original staff...this just sounds crazy!

Reminder to all: August the 7th is no submission but yellow submissions and friendly commenting in support of DA and Jark.

No - I'm a bit unsure about what's going on at the moment, and I don't particularly want my name on a "hit list" if it turns into one. Plus, I'm not signing any petition until I know what's going on. There's not a lot of chance that I will find out, and it's not really any of my business, so I'll stay at the "wondering" stage.
